This is a modern wood dining table with end extensions. It was custom built from solid Walnut wood and given a natural finish, a Seymour edge, and custom legs. This table is 36″ x 60″ with two 18″ leaves that add to the ends of the table.

At Loewen Design Studios we build each of our dining tables one at a time, just for you. That’s exactly what we did with this one. The table in this picture is off to live a long life in someone’s home, but we’d be happy to build you one like it, or something else if that’d suit you better. Here’s how this table came to be.

The original inspiration for this table was a similar tables we’ve built before, but the people who sit around this table now-a-days wanted to change the base. (Here is the listing for the inspiration if you’re curious https://www.etsy.com/listing/1087632450/ )
They liked the Seymour edge, which has a tailored finish.
They also liked the walnut with a natural finish as it has so much interesting color.
The main change was the base. They opted for a modified parsons base with a bar joining the legs, creating an H shape. The change in base gives the table a different look, moving it more towards a modern farmhouse style.

If you’re curious about timelines, we generally need 4-6 weeks to build and finish your table. Very large sizes or more specialized customization might require a bit longer. All of our prices include shipping. Depending where you live, white glove delivery may be available. We’ll reach out once you place your order to confirm shipping details. Typically shipping requires an additional 2-4 weeks after production.
