Patchwork inlays (as seen in the listing pictures) are a traditional form of hiding knots, cracks, and imperfections with a craftsman’s design. All knots, cracks and voids over the size of 3/4” will be patched. If the patchwork is desired please choose this option in the drop down menu. If this upgrade is not chosen the standard epoxy filled voids will be applied.

WOOD CHARACTERISTICS

Each piece is made from natural wood and will have its own distinctive grain patterns, marks, color, and textural variations. Wood is a natural product that varies widely. Due to the custom nature of each piece, all sales are final.

All voids, knots, cracks, and imperfections amongst the wood material will be filled with epoxy or inlays at our discretion. This also means some voids, cracks, or knots may not be filled. Our decisions are made to enhance the quality, stability, and functionality of the piece. We use salvaged or character-grade materials, so knots, cracks, voids, and imperfections of various sizes are to be expected. Multiple grain matched pieces, but not limited to edge jointing, end jointing, etc, are a standard practice within our products. Decisions for your build are based on the available materials at the time of construction to meet your custom specifications (length, height, depth). Your piece will be one of a kind, please allow for artistic freedom.

Wood is a living material, affected by temperature and moisture. Any small cracks, shrinking, or expansion that may occur are natural and part of the pleasure of owning this honest, natural product. The Rustic Hut is not responsible for any misuse of this piece.

CURRENT PROCESSING TIME IS 8-12 WEEKS

All furniture is carefully packaged and shipped in the safest and most economic way. The furniture will ship via blanket wrapped with a private carrier, with CURBSIDE DELIVERY within the lower contiguous 48 states: This excludes any islands or locations inaccessible by standard motor vehicles. Please make sure someone is available to help unload.

If a boat, plane, or train is required for delivery, the additional expense will be the customer’s responsibility. The extra cost will be determined and communicated once the piece is complete and a shipping quote is obtained.

White glove service is an additional $125.00. If this service is desired please contact us prior to ordering and we will create a custom listing for you.
