A beautiful example of the iconic Danish modular FM wall shelving unit in finest rosewood.
Designed by renowned Danish designer Kai Kristiansen.
Kai Kristiansen (born 1929) is one of the most celebrated Danish designers, known for his contributions to mid-century modern furniture design. He was a key figure in the golden age of Danish furniture design during the 1950s and 1960s, a period marked by clean lines, functionality, and high-quality craftsmanship.
He was known for his innovative use of materials, especially wood. His designs featured high-quality timbers like teak, rosewood, and walnut to create elegant and durable pieces.

This great example of the modular shelving unit has four rosewood shelves and a rosewood desk attached to two wall mounted metal rails in black.
The shade is slightly different on the 12.40 in depth shelf. Though it doesn’t stand out.

New large screws and raw plugs included for rail wall mounting.
The shelves are easy to attach to the rails with its two hooks on the back of each shelf. (Hooks attached when recieved)
Ready to hang.

Condition:
In good vintage condition. (The system is plus 60 years old.)
Some superficial scratches on one shelf. These are very discreet.
The desk has some pressure marks on its right side. It is not something that stands out. Please see photo.
No damages to the wood.
The rails are in good condition.
