An absolutely incredible, extensive example of the mid-century Albert Hansen modular wall shelving unit model ‘Excellent” in rosewood with matte aluminum rails.
Designed by renowned danish designer Sven Ellekær.
Produced by Albert Hansen furniture.
Made in Denmark.
Made during the 1970s.
Manufacturer stickers still present on many shelves.

This is a rare chance to get hold of the Excellent shelving system in this size, and additionally in such great condition.

This stunning Sven Ellekær designed shelving unit in has an impressive 23 shelves attached to 5 mounted matte aluminum rails.
Brackets in black with gray details. (Most likely iron, as they are quite heavy.)
The brackets will be taken off before dispatch. They are easy to attach to the shelves with a screw. (All screws included.)
A beautifully crafted rosewood cabinet with sliding doors. You push and slide to open them. The cabinet is attached with hooks on the back.

All shelves and the cabinet can be moved and arranged according to your preferences and needs. You can additionally re arrange the rails.

This particular system is from the early 1970s and have had one previous owner, which took great care of it.
The Excellent system components were sold individually.
This is a timeless, functional, high-quality mid century shelving unit for any modern home.

Condition:
In exceptionally good condition.
Some superficial small scratches on two of the shelves. These are not prominent. Please see photos.
Three of the shelves have minor veneer loss by one of the screws. It is not something which stands out. See photos.
The rails have some minor scratches in places, which are not prominent.
Overall condition rating: 8.5/10

A total of 23 shelves, 5 rails and 1 cabinet.
All parts are very robust.
The system can be purchased without the cabinet if you prefer shelves only.

About the designer
