Inspired by the sustainable, industrious spirit of our woodshop’s previous owner, “Old Jack” is a handcrafted bed frame made from reclaimed historic barnboard door and room moulding. Crafted with local Douglas Fir and Pine, this raised platform bed combines the rustic charm of reclaimed wood with a minimal modernist style, perfect for any bedroom.

✔ Assembly: The bed frame ships disassembled in one large wooden crate. Assembly requires an allen key (a hex head on a drill makes it easier).

Finish & Wood Characteristics: Each bed is made from batches of local wood, varying slightly in tone and grain depending on the season and location where the tree grew. This natural variation ensures that every bed is one-of-a-kind, with unique features that are revealed during the milling process. We prioritize sustainability by using each batch fully, allowing the wood itself to determine its accents.
