Description

Vertical display cabinet made of American walnut wood, Carrara marble and glass. Conceived for the exhibition of works of art such as sculptures that need a certain degree of protection.

This cabinet connects the simple line with which the modernist furniture is constructed with the incorporation of Gothic details such as cathedral and church windows. This type of window was characterised by its pointed arch and prevailed from the 12th century until the beginning of the 16th century, being widely used in Victorian architecture. Likewise, the Lanceolate Windows were inspired by Gothic and Byzantine architecture, tall and narrow designs in the shape of a pointed arch, but unlike the Gothic ones, when they were in pairs or groups of three, it allowed for a more rounded headboard.

Overall, a simple but well thought out piece.

If you require it, we can incorporate shelves or even electrify it with an interior light to illuminate the art piece you want to put inside.

All the pieces that leave our workshop are made with a great attention to detail, even in those parts that are not visible. I have a very rigorous manufacturing method and only make high end pieces with the highest quality that I can offer as a cabinetmaker.

However, you may be interested in modifying the design, dimensions or materials, in which case I will be happy to listen to your suggestions and will be able to carry them out in the workshop. Modifications to my pieces are an integral part of the job and from past experiences I always end up learning something new, which I really enjoy.
