The cherry bed pictured is a king size and is currently ready to ship. We have several more of these in king size in different woods that are also ready to ship, please inquire if interested in seeing them.

This bed frame is essentially our loss leader – we hope this bed frame represents an incredible value for someone looking for a handmade solid hardwood platform bed that will last a lifetime. We make a lot of bed designs, all of which I am very proud of but this more simple design is essentially being offered at cost for those that like simplicity and handmade quality.

This bed is the epitome of simple elegance. All solid wood and the headboard and footboard are comprised of mortise and tenon joinery to legitimately last a lifetime. This platform bed can be optioned with storage underneath as all of our bed frames can be, please check out some of our other beds to see what that looks like.

Platform starts at 12.5″ off the ground – measure your mattress thickness to get the height off the ground you will be sleeping.

11″ between platform and start of headboard – this can be customized to fit your mattress thickness.

WOOD TYPE
Available in any domestic hardwood including Walnut, Maple, White Oak, and Cherry.

FINISH
We use a natural (and food-safe) oil/wax finish to protect and highlight the beauty of the wood so that it can be enjoyed in day-to-day activities by all ages without fear. Any spills can easily be wiped off and, over time, a simple application of oil will revitalize the piece as needed based on personal preference.
