POLKU balance beam is a fun and creative balance training track for kids. It has been designed to encourage children’s creativity while supporting the development of their gross motor and balancing skills. Thanks to its differently shaped beams it provides endless possibilities for creating fun and challenging tracks that are not only ideal for children to learn how to balance their bodies in response to level and direction changes but for also letting their imagination run free by exploring and designing different kinds of tracks. Beams can be formed for example into the shape of an ice cream, a car, a bear, or a lemon – only your imagination is the limit!

In addition to being an ideal product for developing motor skills and creativity POLKU balance beam is also great for children to learn social skills and how to play together with others when building tracks with friends. With our great variety of beams, we guarantee this product will provide hours and hours of fun activities for your children – playing floor is lava, competing with friends, or making rules on how to cross certain types of beams are just some of the many ways children like to play with them!

POLKU balance beam is available in three different sets – S, M, and L which consist of different beams and connectors. In total there are four types of beams: long straight, short straight, long curly and curved, and two types of connector pieces that can be stacked on top of one another for added height and challenge.

Set S is a perfect option for the youngest kids who have already learned how to walk and are ready to start exploring their balance and coordination skills. We recommend starting by laying the beams on the floor without the connectors and getting familiar with the track before going higher above the floor level.

When the child has already gained some experience in balancing their body and walking on the beams set M is a great choice for increasing the level of challenge and for building first tracks. Set M can also be easily added to expand an existing S set to enable a greater amount of variation when your child has been balancing for a while and is ready to move on to the next level.

For more advanced balancers and fearless beam track designers, we have the set L which has a total of 8 beams and 10 connectors for creating the most imaginative tracks. Set L is definitely the go-to option when multiple kids want to play with the track at the same time or you just want to provide your little designers more beams to play and explore with!

POLKU balance beam is designed in Finland and made in the EU from sustainably sourced birch plywood. It has a two-year warranty for private use.

Please note that the birch color option of the POLKU balance beam has been treated with sheer wax to enhance the natural light tone of birch wood.
