This walnut pedestal dining table in maple will sit beautifully in a traditional dining room. The substantial custom pedestal base grounds the table and the room and provides lots of space for chair legs and people legs. The natural finish and seymour edge on the table top highlight the unique coloring of the walnut. The table pictured is 35″ x 60″ and seats 4-6 people.

At Loewen Design Studios we build each of our dining tables one at a time, just for you. That’s exactly what we did with this one. The table in this picture is off to live a long life in someone’s home, but we’d be happy to build you one like it, or something else if that’d suit you better. Here’s how this table came to be.

Our customer was looking for a walnut rectangle table on a pedestal base. Our pedestal base can be seen in our round table collection and the majority of them can be adapted to work with a rectangle table. The base they had in mind though was different from any shown so we worked together to confirm the details and then build the custom base they had envisioned.

If you’re curious about timelines, we generally need 4-6 weeks to build and finish your table. Very large sizes or more specialized customization might require a bit longer. All of our prices include shipping. Depending where you live, white glove delivery may be available. We’ll reach out once you place your order to confirm shipping details. Typically shipping requires an additional 1-2 weeks after production.
