WAVE guest bed / daybed / Twin WHITE OAK & poplar

Description

WAVE guest bed / daybed frame based on the popular HANNA design, but with scalloped rails. I have two options for the scalloped pattern, a deeper wave, or a more subtle version. The bed in the image is the “deep” wave.

The bed is very solid and sturdy, in a minimalist style reminiscent of Japanese beds with MCM aesthetics. Mattress pads are NOT included.

DIMENSIONS
The finished frame is 80″ long, 38″ wide, and 9″ high and fits a Twin XL sized mattress pad. This bed can also be made to fit a standard Twin 75″ long. Customization requests are welcome!

MATERIALS & FINISH
Solid white oak frame with poplar slats (all white oak option is available – please see my other listings for different wood options). Hand-applied oil / polyurethane finish.

CUSTOMIZATION
Custom sizing and other woods are available, subject to local lumber market availability. Additional charges may apply. Please send me a message for custom inquiries.

SHIPPING:
I use independent shippers that provide blanket wrap service, which allows for less wasteful packing and crating. As these frames are fairly heavy, the driver does require help at delivery location to unload. If the delivery location is remote, far away from major highway routes, has difficult access, stairs, or requires white glove service, additional charges may apply. It may take several weeks for the driver to reach your destination.

PRODUCTION TIME
My production time is currently about 8-10 weeks before shipping.

RUSH ORDERS AND TIME SENSITIVE REQUESTS:
Due to the volume of orders I receive, I generally do not accept rush orders, nor am I able to promise exact delivery dates. I do my best to get each item shipped out within a reasonable production schedule. I am a one-man shop and I build each piece by hand. Woodworking machines are unforgiving and exhaustion, stress, and haste can be disastrous. I also need to balance my work and family life! I appreciate your patience.
